September 16 finally offered an almost uncloudy sunset - it is shear magic to watch the temples and pagodas in the beautiful light with its long shadows. Every time just one question went through my mind: "how can people build so many templs in so short a time, just 230 years?" The answer to that question can be seen daily and everywhere in Myanmar: the people in this country as deeply religious. It encreases my respect for these people day by day. Truly special people...
On the first 3 pictures my horse cart driver can be seen. His name is Aung, he is a quiet man, gives good information and he has horse cart number 187. Recommended! Two full days I spent with him, showing me two very different parts of Bagan. We had lunch together (off course Myanmar food), shared the tea break in the afternoon and had a good time.
