September 17 was a full day on the bicycle, exploring sites that I had seen the previous days by horse cart and some sites that were still unexplored. Every evening before sleep I took a look at the map of Bagan and read about temples in order to prepare for the next day. I sort of did my homework. With so many temples, it is inevitable that some will be forgotten - one of them being the Sulamani temple. From a distance, I photographed it on pictures PICT3322 and PICT3343. The pagoda temple most seen here is the temple from which I took the sunset pictures on September 16. This day proved to be a long, hot, relaxing and very enjoyable day, feeling free on the bike, crossing small dirt raods, being suddenly surrounded by cows and their farmer or play hide-and-seek for the almost desperate souvernir-sellers. The political turmoil in Thailand made many tourists cancel their trip to Thaland and consequently Myanmar, leaving the souvenir-sellers in the already low-season month of September with very low income.
